ABOUT INNER HEALING FAMILY THERAPY, PLLC
A relational therapy practice serving individuals, couples, and families throughout North Carolina.
Our Practice
Inner Healing Family Therapy, PLLC was created as a relational therapy practice grounded in the belief that healing happens in context - within families, communities, cultural identity, spirituality, and lived experience. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, the work of this practice centers understanding the systems, stories, and relationships that shape emotional life.

This practice specializes in working with individuals, couples, and families navigating trauma, grief, religious harm, identity transitions, and relational challenges (inclusive of the relationship with oneself). Particular attention is given to intergenerational patterns, faith transitions, spiritual leadership burnout, and identity reclamation across cultural and relational contexts.

Inner Healing Family Therapy, PLLC also serves as an emerging therapeutic space for therapists seeking their own healing and support. The emotional labor of caregiving professions often goes unseen, and this practice intentionally creates space for therapists, ministers, and those in the helping professions to process burnout, identity strain, and the relational weight of their work.

This practice is grounded in collaborative and systemic frameworks, so therapy is approached as a shared process of meaning-making, where therapist and client work together to decipher, understand, and disrupt patterns, externalize problems, and strengthen relational awareness. From a systemic perspective, individual struggles are understood within broader relational/social/cultural systems rather than as isolated personal failures and pathologies.

Clients are invited to explore how family history, cultural narratives, spiritual frameworks, and relational experiences influence present-day emotional responses and decision-making. This approach supports deeper insight, increased emotional flexibility, and more sustainable change.

Inner Healing Family Therapy, PLLC strives to balance clinical rigor with cultural humility, creating a space where both professional expertise and client wisdom are honored. As the practice grows, it will continue developing into a collaborative clinical environment where therapists are supported in providing ethical culturally responsive care. This evolving team structure allows the practice to expand access to relational and healing-centered therapy while maintaining strong clinical integrity and a shared commitment to restoration and resilience.

Our Approach to Therapy
