Resilient Reclamation Therapy™

A Black-Centered Pathway to Emotional Liberation

RRT is an emerging, Black-centered therapeutic modality aimed toward diasporic Africans within the United States due to our cultural, emotional, and psychological ties to this land and the unique forms of trauma, displacement, and identity fragmentation that accompany that history. RRT draws from African Traditional Religious cosmologies, ancestral memory, narrative reclamation, and liberation-based understanding of the human self to for a reconstructive therapy system that restores identity, dignity, and psychological wholeness.

RRT is currently a model in development and is undergoing its initial stages of clinical study exclusively within this practice. These early clinical trials serve as foundational steps toward future peer-review, scholarly recognition, and the formal establishment of RRT as a clinically evaluated therapeutic framework.

At its core, RRT is designed to support Black individuals, couples, and families of all backgrounds, economic-, and social settings in reclaiming the stories, identities, ancestral wisdom, and cultural realities that trauma, colonial structures, and systemic erasure attempt to silence.

The "I AM" Experience

A movement of healing, liberation, and spiritual awakening for the Black RELIGIOUS communities.

Our annual "The 'I AM' Experience" Conference is intentionally designed for Black religious communities who are seeking to expand their understanding of healing, wholeness, and spiritual maturity through the intentional integration of mental health practices within their assemblies. This gathering invites pastors, ministers, spiritual leaders, mental health practitioners, scholars, church influencers, and community healers into a transformative dialogue about what true liberation and emotional wellbeing can look like when faith and therapy walk hand-in-hand.

The conference explores the intersections of psychological restoration, ancestral wisdom, spiritual formation, communal healing, and personal transformation. Through immersive workshops, thought-provoking panel discussions, embodied healing circles, worship experiences, and culturally attuned teaching sessions, participants are invited into a space where mind, body, spirit, and community can be restored and reimagined.

While continuing education units (CEUs) are not yet offered, they are planned for future conference years as part of our ongoing commitment to providing accessible, high-quality, culturally rooted professional development for clergy and clinicians.

The "I AM" Experience is more than just a conference, it's a movement toward renewal, accountability, emotional honesty, and spiritual evolution within Black faith traditions.
